Liquid Web Rock. All our sites are hosted on a VPS in their data centre. Out of all the hosting companies we’ve dealt with, these guys win. Their service is legendary, response time is within minutes, and they go out of their way to help, even when you don’t ask. More expensive then Hostgator shared hosting, but if you make $$$ online, it pays itself back in no time, compared with loosing money because of downtime. Highly recomended.

Everyone’s heard of Host Gator, and for value they can’t be beat. When we started out, we hosted a bunch of sites on shared hosting. Service was ok, as good as you can expect for $8 a month. We eventually moved due to a bunch of downtime which wasn’t our fault. For this reason, i wouldn’t recommend them for business or time critical websites, however for a beginner or noobi to web hosting, they’re a great start for anyone needing hosting cheaply.

We use 1 AND 1 for our .com domain registrations. They’re cheaper then GoDaddy, and they offer FREE private registration, so people can’t look you up via DNS records (which can lead to some strange stuff). DNS Propogation isn’t as quick as Godaddy, it usually takes 12 or so hours, but once it’s done, it’s done. No fuss service, never had a problem with them.

Phpbay Pro is the software we use alongside wordpress to run all of our eBay niche stores. The developer Wade is a pretty friendly guy, and the community is one of the best one’s i’ve found online. The software itself is fairly intuitive and easy to install. eBay’s EPN affiliate network is a great way to make income online, provided you do it right! Content…content…content!
